Visual art inspired by Suicide Squad. Warner Bros and DC Comics
Introduction:

To celebrate the release of Suicide Squad in August 2016, artists, illustrators and graphic designers from around the world are invited to create moving or still, artwork inspired by the super villains featured in the film and the movie’s tagline: Worst. Heroes. Ever.
Warner Bros. Pictures are looking for captivating artwork that illustrates the film’s dark humor and bright tone.

Details: 
The concept behind this illustration was to work on a visual art without replacing the original Suicide Squad’s typography. I transformed each letter to look and feel each character of the movie. The letter “S” represents Killer Croc; letter “Q” represents the Joker, and; “U” for Harley Quinn.

Thinking:
The idea was built on the foundation of the existing logotype for Suicide Squad. Using the current logotype, I then transformed each letter to be representative of each individual character. 
In actualizing the design, I investigated the characters to graphically represent them appropriately in respects to their color, a texture of costume, weapons, and objects used, and finally their ability in action. 
The typography used in the background (street) represents each character from the movie and their respective powers in action.

Details:
This is a coffee product created to engage sophisticated adults.
The challenge for this project was to realize the concept from beginning to the end so we designed the logo, and created an icon utilizing a hashtag on the package with the purpose to promote it on social media. We needed to make sure that we created a visually appealing texture that would catch our target audiences’ attention. As you can see in the pictures shown, we utilized “Black & White” for the identity. Finally, we created a packaging design.

Challenge:
• The challenge for this project was developing the concept from beginning to end. We actualized the logo and finished with a social media hashtag to complete the brand’s communication.  
• Overall, we needed to make sure that we created a visually appealing logo that would catch our target audiences’ attention.

Idea:
• The principle idea in developing this project was utilizing “Black & White” for the identity.
• We started creating the logo that identifies the brand, using the words “Black & White” typographically with an unusual texture that we would use in packaging.
• The next step was to create a style guide with graphic elements and a look and feel that will help us create the packaging.
• Finally, we’ll create a hashtag that will be utilized on social media.

Bon Appetit. Genuine tradition inside. Brand Guidelines / Packaging Design
Details: 
The goal with this distinctive design helped consumers cut through the proliferation of choices available in the same service category. 
The concept refers to a traditional coffee. In order to match our intended perception, we decided to use the slogan, “genuine tradition inside” which is proposed to define the product as being natural and fresh coffee on the inside. 
The coffee farm shown outside of the box provides a glimpse into where the coffee is produced representing a natural and pure environment. We built a “unique” brand different from other brands already present inside supermarkets.
As a result, we were recognized by the client.

A “tip” to create a vision board
A vision board is a visual representation of what you want to create. It depicts what you want to become and what you want to achieve. The images elicit thoughts of want to manifest accompanied by a feeling of a having done so.
Create your own vision map. Select images from online searches and magazines, and choose any textures, graphics, colors, typographies, words or phrases you find meaningful. Cut them out, and paste them onto a piece of poster board.


Thinking:
• The challenge for this project was creating packaging that was different from brands that are already present inside supermarkets. 
• The only thing made available to us for this brand was the name, “Bon Appetit.” 
• In creating an image for this brand, we wanted to build the perception that this coffee is natural and fresh, directly from its producer.

Idea:
• We started with the creation of a logo and then moved on to developing the brand guidelines we’d be using for the packaging. 
• We created a logo that matched the perception we wanted to build for the brand. 
• To match our intended perception, we decided to use the slogan, “genuine tradition inside” which is meant to define the product as being natural and fresh coffee on the inside. The tears on the outside box provide a glimpse into where the coffee is produced, representing that natural and bright environment.

A live cooking competition with Miami’s where we developed a visual communication campaign on Facebook, Instagram, and a website named Taste of Miami. As a result, the event’s Instagram kept 9,414 followers engaged.

Introduction:
Indulge in the stylish flavors of Miami with delectable culinary bites, craft beers and wines from the best Miami restaurants and breweries. The highlight of the evening will be a sizzling live cooking competition with Miami’s finest chefs and ballplayers. Proceeds from this marquee event will benefit the Marlins Foundation in support of Miami-Dade Culinary Institute and Hispanic Food and Beverage Foundation.

Dark Dining 2015 “The Eve Of Prohibition” Event. Highlights
Details: 
The central concept of this event was to live the NY1920’s era. The goal was to find similar scenes and places from that era along with sumptuous costumes and music to make this event an ‘unforgettable’ event. We also used this opportunity to collect funds by our sponsors and tickets sold in order to donate the profit to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Foundation.
Marco managed and directed this project exclusively. He started this project writing a storyboard and then producing it. The videos were published on social media like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Also, he directed the photo shoot, designed and developed the digital media assets. Additionally, he created a style guide and environmental design for this event.
