Catnip Inside. Fearfully Fun Outside
These pieces are part of the images for the LitLabs Kittie Doobs Adventure Toys Amazon listing, created to visually and memorably communicate the product’s core attribute: its high catnip content. Kittie Doobs comes in two editions with opposite personalities, Fear and Love, each telling the same story from a completely different emotion. This image belongs to the Fear edition.
The scene takes place in a dark, abandoned room, set in blue-black tones with an almost cinematic suspense atmosphere. Worn-out plush toys, mice, fish, and other frayed creatures hang from the ceiling like trophies from a night of unhinged play. The floor is scattered with stuffing, balls, and remnants of other torn-apart toys, reinforcing the feeling of a scene where “the crime already happened.”
At the center, our character Doobie holds his own X-ray with both hands, glowing under a cold blue light. The image reveals that inside there are no bones, only densely packed catnip. His expression is one of genuine shock: wide-open eyes, tense brows, and a trembling mouth, as if he’s just discovered an unsettling secret about himself. In the background, half-hidden in the shadows, a cat watches the scene in complete silence, a distant but threatening presence that turns the discovery into a warning.
On the left, a clipboard holds the “Doobie Play Report,” a clinical sheet drawn by hand with humor, explaining the product’s real attributes (catnip filling, inner crinkle paper, loose arms and legs) disguised as autopsy results. It’s the device that turns technical specs into storytelling, without the piece ever feeling like a traditional infographic.
The product packaging and the LitLabs logo appear integrated in the bottom corner, closing the composition with the edition’s claim: “Catnip Inside. Fearfully Fun Outside.”
The process combined AI image generation with Magnific AI and Flora AI to explore mood, lighting, and composition, supported by ChatGPT to structure the creative prompt, and a final finish in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to integrate typography, packaging, and brand logo.
